Mary L. Harrell is Of Counsel with Roach Newton. Mary joined the firm in 2007 and focuses on civil trials and appeals concerning contact and commercial disputes. After graduating from law school, Mary served as Briefing Attorney for Justice J. Harvey Hudson on the Fourteenth Court of Appeals in Houston, Texas. Mary also worked in the litigation sections of Baker & McKenzie and Verner Liipfert before joining Roach Newton.
Mary is currently a member of the Appellate Section of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association. Mary holds a B.S. in Political Science from Texas A&M University and a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center, where she served as a board member for The Advocates and a member of the mock trial team.
